Makeup has been a passion of mine since I was little and found my way into my mom’s makeup drawer. As I got older, I loved experimenting with different looks to match the many fashion styles I had, and enjoyed practicing on friends and family. I started professionally as a makeup artist in 2000, gaining training and experience from various lines while working at different makeup stores and counters, as well as from doing freelance work. I love the creativity and artistry of being a makeup artist and being able to transform a blank canvas into a beautiful painting. Seeing how happy my clients are when they see the results is the frame on the painting. Makeup can enhance your natural beauty or totally transform your look; the possibilities are endless and it’s such a fun way of enjoying your femininity!
While working as a makeup artist at Douglas Cosmetics in Westfield, NJ, and thanks to my husband's idea, I decided to try something else I was really good at – massage. So, I enrolled at Health-Choices Holistic Massage School in Hillsborough, NJ, in 2007. I loved the holistic way my instructors viewed massage -taking into account the body, mind and spirit. Massage is more than just helping to relieve aches and pains, it’s viewing a person as a whole and connecting with their energy so you reach them on a deeper level.
My training includes Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Chair Massage, Ohashiatsu, Myofascial Release, Hot Stone Therapy and Pre and Post-Natal Massage. What makes me stand out is that I create a customized integrative session of various styles specific for each person, and I really know how to make someone calm and relaxed. I've been told I have the "magic touch"...what more of a compliment can I ask for?
I am NJ certified in massage therapy and certified in Pre and Post-Natal Massage. I am also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. My education also includes a BBA in Marketing from LIM College, New York, NY.
